Ber Oomen

Ber Oomen is the Executive Director of the European Specialist Nurses Organisation, which represents specialist nursing organisations across Europe and advocates for the recognition, regulation, and integration of specialist nurses within health systems.

He has extensive experience in European health policy, with a focus on workforce development, professional standards, patient safety, and the role of specialist nurses in prevention and chronic disease management. Within Sleep Health Europe, Ber brings the first-line professional perspective, highlighting the role of nurses in early identification of sleep disturbance, patient education, continuity of care.
