Frédéric Destrebecq is the Executive Director of the European Brain Council, a pan-European network bringing together patient organisations, scientific societies, professional bodies, industry, and national brain councils to advance brain health across Europe.
He has extensive experience in European health and research policy, with a focus on positioning brain health as a strategic asset for Europe. His work promotes a coordinated, life-course approach to brain health, spanning prevention, mental health, neurological conditions, and research and innovation, and supports the development of national brain plans and stronger European policy coordination.
